Biography
Dr. Edson Denner Leonel holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003), a master's degree (2006) and a doctorate (2009) in Structural Engineering from the University of São Paulo - Campus de São Carlos. He has experience in the field of Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Structural Mechanics, working mainly on the following topics: reinforced concrete, nonlinear analysis, finite element method, contour element method, structural reliability and inverse analysis. It has collaboration with the following French universities: Université de Nantes and Université Blaise Pascal. He is currently a Ph.D. Professor in the Department of Structural Engineering of the School of Engineering of São Carlos, University of São Paulo.
