Biography
José Elias Laier holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1971), a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1975) and a PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1978). He is currently a full professor at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Structural Mechanics, working mainly on the following topics: numerical analysis, dynamics of structures, high building, structures dynamics and high buildings.
