Biography
Luiz Cesar Ribeiro Carpinetti completed his Mechanical Engineer graduated from the School of Engineering of São Carlos, University of São Paulo, with a Master's degree in Metrology and Quality Assurance from the Cranfield Institute of Technology and a PhD in Engineering from the University of Warwick, both in England. Full Professor in the area of ​​Quality Management by the School of Engineering of São Carlos. Full Professor at the School of Engineering of São Carlos (EESC-USP). Executive Director of ANPEPRO - National Association of Graduate Programs in Production Engineering. Associate Editor of Gestão & Produção Magazine. He was Head of the Production Engineering Department of EESC-USP (2006 - 2010 and 2014 - 2016), Coordinator of the Post-Graduation Program in Production Engineering of EESC-USP (2013-2014), Coordinator of the EESC-USP Production Engineering Undergraduate Program (1997-2000) and Coordinator of the Specialization Course in Production Engineering at EESC-USP (2009-2011). Researcher at CNPq, he coordinates a research group on quality management and change (registered at CNPq). His specialties in teaching and research are in the area of ​​quality management and performance management. Currently, it also develops a line of research on multicriteria and artificial intelligence (fuzzy) techniques to support the decision in supplier performance management.
