Biography

Mateus Cecílio Gerolamo is a production engineer graduated in 2000 from the School of Engineering of São Carlos (EESC), University of São Paulo (USP), where he completed his master's degree (2003) and doctorate (2007) in Production Engineering Improvement and Organizational Change, and Performance Management in Regional Cooperation Networks of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He holds a doctorate sandwich and postdoctoral degree at the Berlin Institute of Technology (TUB) between 2006 and 2008. He has more than 15 years of experience in research, teaching and consulting projects. He acted as coordinator of a cooperation network of SMEs in a project financed by SEBRAE / FIESP (2005). He taught the subjects of Production and Operations Management and Quality Management for the Business Administration course (between 2003 and 2005). He carried out consulting projects in the areas of Quality Management and Production Management for SMEs. He was a Supply Chain Management consultant for the Axia Value Chain between 2008 and 2010. He is involved in administrative and pedagogical activities related to the School of Engineering of São Carlos (USP ) and their respective engineering courses. He also participates in social and extension activities coordinating teams of students such as EESC Jr and Projeto Rondon. Has published book in the area of ​​Quality Management. He has published several articles and is a reviewer of national and international academic journals. It is CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) certified by APICS (The Association for Operations Management). Since 2010 he is Professor of the Department of Production Engineering at EESC-USP. His area of ​​expertise in teaching,
