Biography
Dr. Roberto Luiz de Arruda Barbato holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Uberaba (1966), a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of São Paulo (1972) and a PhD in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from the University of São Paulo (1975). He was an Associate Professor in the Department of Structural Engineering and retired in 2003. He is currently a reviewer of the Journal of Multiciencia (ASSER), PhD Professor at Centro Universitário Central Paulista and member of Editorial Board of Multiciência (ASSER). Has experience in Civil Engineering, with emphasis on Structures. Working mainly on the following topics: truss cable, cables, roofs, suspended cables.
