Biography
Valéria completd his graduation in Geology by the University of São Paulo (1998), Master in Geosciences (Geochemistry and Geotectonics Program) by the University of São Paulo (2001) and PhD in Geosciences (Geochemistry and Geotectonics Program) by the University of São Paulo (2007). Postdoctoral study by the Paulista State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP (2008-2010), in the project: "Ecotoxicological Analysis and Biomonitoring in Ribeira de Iguape River Bivalves - Pollution Assessment". She is currently a professor at the São Carlos School of Engineering (Department of Geotechnics) at the University of São Paulo. He has experience in Geosciences, with emphasis in Geology and Environmental Geotechnics, working mainly in the following subjects: contamination, potentially toxic metals (soils, lake sediments and fluvial sediments)
