Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Londrina and a master's degree in Microbiology from the State University of Londrina (1992), working with Lectinophagocytosis of enteropathogenic Escherichia coli O111. He was a PhD student at the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro, in the area of ​​Biosciences and Biotechnology and PhD in Biosciences and Biotechnology, performing a study of host cell surface components in the formation of the paraistophore vacuole during interaction with Toxoplasma gondii, using cryoltramicrotomy, cryofracture and confocal microscopy. Professor / Researcher at the University of Vale do Paraíba - UNIVAP full time working on Cellular and Molecular Biology, addressing the cytotoxic and genotoxic effects of photodynamic mechanisms in tumor cells, of the action of alcohol on the formation of bone tissue. He collaborates with several UNIVAP research groups, with research groups from the Research and Technology Institute - UNESP - São Jose dos Campos.
