Biography
Bachelor in Astronomy (1989) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Master in Space Science (1992) and Doctor of Astrophysics - Solar Radioastronomy (1997), by the National Institute of Space Research - INPE. Visiting scholar at the Space Sciences Laboratory, University of California - Berkeley, USA (1994-1996). Post-Doctorate (FAPESP) (DAS / INPE, 2000-2002). University Extension in Management and University Leadership (UNIVAP, 2008). Since 2007, he is a researcher at the Laboratory of Physics and Astronomy of the Research and Development Institute (IP & D) and member of the faculty of the Postgraduate Program in Physics and Astronomy of the University of Vale do Paraiba (UNIVAP). Member of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and member of the Brazilian Astronomical Society (SAB) and the Latin American Association of Space Geophysics (ALAGE). Advisor to FAPESP, CNPq and Mack Research. Reviewer of Solar Physics, Advances in Space Research, Brazilian Journal of Physics and Univap Magazine.
