Biography
Paulo Roxo Barja is a physicist (UNICAMP) and musician (Lavignac); (2000/2001), holds a PhD in Sciences from UNICAMP (2000) and a Master's degree in Physics (UNICAMP, 1996). Since February 2002, he is Professor at UNIVAP, where he coordinates the Laboratory of Applied Statistics at the Research and Development Institute. Pessimist at LabCom Univap (Communication Research Laboratory), To date, he has published 54 papers in academic journals, three book chapters and more than 200 papers in annals of events. Participated in more than 80 scientific events in Brazil, Europe, USA, Egypt and Latin America. He has directed 30 master's dissertations in the areas of Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering, as well as several course completion papers in the areas of Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics and Biological Sciences. Since 2002, is an evaluator of the Latin American Meeting on Scientific Initiation and Post-Graduation annually promoted by UNIVAP. From 2009 to 2012, he coordinated the Professional Master's Program in Bioengineering at UNIVAP. It has 10 books published, as well as 77 cordel (Cordéis Joseenses) leaflets on various topics (environment, history, politics and health, among others). It has organized collective literary productions (mainly cords) from workshops that minister in colleges, universities and other spaces. His main lines of research are related to Statistics, Bioengineering and Communication.
