Biography
He holds a bachelor's degree in Geography from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1985), a Master's degree in Remote Sensing from the National Institute of Space Research (1989), a PhD in Space Information from the University of New South Wales (1995) ). He completed his postdoctoral training at Indiana University in 2007-2008. He is currently an associate researcher at the ACT - Anthropological Center for Training and Research and an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Vale do Paraíba. He has experience in Urban and Regional Planning, with emphasis in Urban and Regional Planning, working mainly in the following subjects: urban space, urban planning, geotechnologies, environmental degradation and urban growth.
