Biography
Mr. Décio da Silva served as the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Executive President of Weg SA until January 2008. Mr. da Silva served as Production Officer, Regional Officer and Sales Officer of Weg S.A. He served as Production, Regional and Sales Director at Weg companies. Mr. da Silva has been the Chairman of the Board at Weg SA since 2008 and has been its Director since January 2008. He serves as a Director of Weg Electric. He served as a Director of Iochpe-Maxion S.A. since 2008. He served as an Independent Director of BRF S.A. (BRF - Brasil Foods S.A) from April 12, 2007 to February 27, 2014. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina and with a degree in Business Administration from the Higher Educational School of Administration and Management of UDESC. Mr. da Silva enrolled in a graduate program in Business Administration at Fundação Dom Cabral.
