Dr. Ivan Bogdanov, Phd

Biography

He graduated first cycle of medical education in University "Joseph Fourier" - Grenoble, France in 2000. In 2006 he graduated medicince from Medical University Sofia. In 2013 Dr. Bogdanov acquired scientific degree Doctor of Medicine from Medical University Sofia with dissertation thesis: "Combined Climatotreatment method in psoriasis therapy". He was a resident of the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic of Tokuda Hospital Sofia from 2010. He specialized in the University Hospital Saint Louis - Paris and London Clinic, UK. In 2014 he acquired Dermatology and Venereology specialty. From 2006 to 2008 he worked as a volunteer in the Skin and Venereal Diseases Clinic of Alexandrovska University Hospital. Dr. Bogdanov was a regular doctorate student in the Medical University - Sofia from 2009 to 2011. He is part of the Dermatology and Venerology Clinic of Tokuda Hospital Sofia Since 2010. He is chairman of "Psoriasis Foundation" since 2010. Writer and owner of www.prodermaclub.com, www.dermahelp.com (till 2012 г.), writer for www.bg-derm.org, www.bg-pso.org, www.basord.com. Dr. Bogdanov is a scholar of European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology – Michael Hornstein Memorial Scholarship, 20th EADV Congress 2011, Lisbon, Portugal, International Society of Dermatology – 10th International Congress of Dermatology, 2009, Prague, Check Republic, American Academy of Dermatology - 68th Annual meeting of AAD, 2010, Miami, Florida, USA and Agence Universitaire de Francophonie – 2009-2010, Hopital Saint Louis, Paris, France. Author of several articles and publications, co-author of books. Member of the European Society of Dermatology and Venereology, Member of the managing board of the Bulgarian Dermatological Society.
