Biography
Dr. Koleva graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1995, and received her specialization in clinical laboratory in 2002 from the same university. She has also specialized in Gottingen, Germany in 1998 and in Stuttgart, Germany in 2005. After graduation Dr. Koleva began working in the clinic for metabolic diseases in the university hospital “Tzarina Yoanna”. In December 1996, she accepted a position as a scientific associate in the clinical laboratory of the National Oncology Center, where she earned eight years of professional experience. From 2004 to 2006, she was a member of the clinical laboratory of the university hospital “Lozenetz”, and she has been a member of our team since we opened the hospital. Dr. Koleva has vast experience in organizing and conducting Clinical Trials, and her scientific interests lie in tumor markers, bone turnover markers, and the risk factors of Atherosclerosis and cardio-vascular diseases.
