Dr. Emanuil Manolov, Md Phd 

Biography

  Dr. Manolov was born in 1969 in Burgas, Bulgaria and graduated from the French Language high school in Sofia. In 1996, he graduated from the Sofia Medical University, after which he was a doctoral candidate student in the clinic of thoracic surgery of the university hospital “Sveta Sofia”. In 2001, he successfully defended his dissertation “Surgical treatment of bullous emphysema” and earned his scientific doctoral degree. In 2004, he added a master’s degree in health care management from the Social Health Faculty of the Sofia Medical University. He has two specialties: general surgery and thoracic surgery. He has 19 scientific publications in thoracic surgery in leading international and national medical journals. Dr. Manolov is a member of the European Association of Cardiac-Thoracic Surgery. He is fluent in French, Russian and English
