Biography
Dr. Ikonomova graduated from the Sofia Medical University in 1987, and received her specialization physical therapy and rehabilitation in 1991. During her first years after graduation, she worked as a rotational doctor in Kustendil Bulgaria, after which she joined the physical therapy and rehabilitation department team of the University Hospital Tzarina Yoanna, where she worked from 1993-2006. She has graduated from post graduate programs in reflexology, acupuncture, acupressure, lazer puncture, manual therapies, electro-diagnostics, and electro-stimulation. Dr. Ikonomova specialized in the Tokushukai Medical Corporation in Japan, and is an active member of the Bulgarian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Ikonomova has lead our physical therapy and rehabilitation department since we began serving the public.
