Biography
Dr. Vesela Markova graduated from 9th French Language High School, Sofia. In 2008 she graduated from Medical University Sofia. In 2009 she won a contest and started working as the first OB/Gyn resident in Tokuda Hospital Sofia under the guidance of Dr. Iliya Karagyozov. In 2012 she became a laureate of Teodora Zaharieva Foundation with an essay “Why it is worth to stay and work in Bulgaria?” She is awarded personally by the Ombudsman of Bulgaria. Dr. Markova acquired OB/Gyn specialty in 2012. In 2013 she joined Tokuda Hospital team as a full time certified OB/Gyn doctor. She has passed classes in Ultrasound in OB/Gyn, Colposcopy, Laparoscopic Surgery in OB/Gyn in Telecommunication Endoscopic Center in Pleven, Bulgaria. She is a member of the Bulgarian Doctors Union, Bulgarian Association for Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery, Bulgarian Society for Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Club ‘Young Oncologist’. She speaks English and French.
