Biography
Assoc. Prof. Yolanda Zografova, PhD, is a Head of Social, Work and Organizational Psychology Research Unit and Scientific Secretary of Institute of Population and Human Studies-Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She is an author of two monographs on problems of aggression, dozens of articles, published in national and international journals and editions. Her research interests are in the field of social psychology, social attitudes and intercultural representations, interethnic relations, citizens’ involvement, social and European identity, migration. Zografova participates as a team leader in international projects such as the Integrated project “EUROSPHERE” (2007 – 2012), funded by the 6th FP of the EC and coordinated by the University of Bergen. She is also a team leader of a project funded by the Bulgarian Swiss Research Programme “The dynamic nature of interethnic attitudes in Bulgaria: a social psychological perspective (2013-2016). Zografova is a member of international editorial boards of Eurosphere Working papers online, Psychological Thought, Problems of Psychology in the 21st Century and also a deputy editor-in-chief of two national journals – Bulgarian Journal of Psychology and Psychological Research.
