Biography
Lake District Co-ordinator since July 2001. MSc in Ecology, Sofia University (1979). Ph.D. thesis on comparative population biology of Stizostedion lucioperca, Department of Hydrobiology, Institute of Zoology, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1993). Associate Professor, Department of Hydrobiology and Ichthyology, Biological Faculty, Sofia University. Special expertise in freshwater fish population biology, size and age composition, growth rate, maturity, fecundity, fish ecology, food and predator-prey relationships. Published over 50 scientific papers.
