Dr. Nikolay Donchev

Biography

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nikolay Donchev, PhD. was born in 1977. He graduated in medicine with excellent success in 2001. in the Higher School of Medicine in Plovdiv. In the period 2002-2003. working at the Cardiac Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital "St. Georgi "-Plovdiv. In 2006, has won a grant for a national project entitled "Endolazic treatment of varicose veins" from the Scientific Research Fund of the Ministry of Education and Science. Subsequently, as part of the project, she specialized in "Endolumenal laser treatment of varicose veins" at Hospital Sagrat Cor, Barcelona, ​​Spain. In 2007, acquires a specialty in Surgery. Since 2008 he is a moderator at the Vascular Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital "St. Anna "- Varna, where she works until 2014. In the beginning of 2011, acquires a PhD in Cardiovascular Surgery based on a dissertation on "Endovascular Laser Treatment of Varicose Varicose Veins". In the same year he acquired a second degree in Vascular Surgery. From 2011 was appointed Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery at the Medical University of Varna, and since 2013. is a senior assistant. In July 2014 Dr. Donchev started working at the Vascular Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital "St. Marina "- Varna, where she works until now. Since 2016 Dr. Donchev has been a habilitated associate professor at the Clinic of Vascular Surgery.
