Biography

Prof. Dr. Krasimir Ivanov, Ph.D.is one of the leading surgeons in Bulgaria, a National Surgery Consultant. Rector of the Medical University "Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov Varna from 2012. He won a second rector's mandate in 2016. He graduated from the Higher Medical Institute in Varna in 1986. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (2005) and holds a major in General Surgery (1993) and subsequently Oncology (2005). habilitated as "Professor". From 2001 to 2010 he is the Executive Director of "St. Marina EAD Varna, then chairman of the Board of Directors, and obtained the PhD degrees and the Doctor of Medical Sciences, and subsequently defended the dissertation "Diagnosis and Surgical Treatment of Rectal Carcinoma" (1998).
