Biography

Dr. Angel Borisov Angelov, MD Born on 18.09. 1959 in the city of Varna. Secondary education graduated in Hristo Kabakchiev First High School in 1998 with a silver medal. Higher Medical Education acquired 1986. He graduated in General Surgery in 1994. In May 2004 he defended his second specialty - Vascular Surgery. Since November 1, 1990 he has been an Assistant in General and Vascular Surgery at the Department of Surgical Diseases, Vascular Surgery Clinic of the Medical University of Varna. Since 1998 he has been a senior assistant, since April 18, 2007 - Chief Assistant. Member of the Bulgarian National Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and Angiology and of the National Phlebological Society. Since 2012, he has been a member of the German Flagological Society.From 12.12.2014. Specialists: Dr. Nina Kovacheva / Doctor Surgery / Dr. Ivo Markov, Dr. Stanislav Tunchev  Prof. Dr. Vesselin Petrov was born in Pleven, 1956. Graduate of secondary education at AEG "Geo Milev" Rousse and medicine at the Medical Institute in Pleven in 1983. with excellent success. He has a recognized degree in General and Vascular Surgery, defended his dissertation on "Transcranial Doppler Sonography in Surgery of Aortic Artery Arteries". Since 2007 is a habilitated associate professor of vascular surgery. Specialized in Italy, UK, Switzerland, Germany, Spain on vascular surgery. His interests are focused on carotid surgery and abdominal surgery - aneurysms, atherosclerosis of the aorta and visceral arteries. Representative of Bulgaria at the European Society of Vascular Surgery. Founder and member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian National Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and Angiology.
