Biography
Mr. Probir Bose attained MA from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, and he acquired specialized trainings like ODF from Asian Society for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (ASEED), New Delhi, Skill Building for Effective Training from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow, and Training on Emerging Trends in Personnel Selection from Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. He has 34 years combined experience of the corporate as well as development sector. He served for 22 years in the corporate business sector with leading organizations in the manufacturing and service industry before taking up an opportunity to join the development sector. He joined Grameen Development Services (GDS), Lucknow as Program Director in 2001, and subsequently got inducted to Board of GDS as Secretary & Chief Functionary from 2004 to 2009. He is also the member of Governing Council of Nalanda Resource Center for Educational Innovation. He has worked as a Consultant to the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 1999 to 2001, and to Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) in Eastern India from 2001 to 2004. Currently, he is consulting to various organizations.
