Shivani Kumar

Biography

Ms. Shivani Kumar got M.A. (Economics) from Patna University, PG Diploma in Rural Management, and Diploma in Disaster Management. She is rural development and social work professional. She has 8 years experience in the areas of community development, education and health issues for women and girls. She has worked with a wide range of organizations in the social sector in several states gaining expertise in the field as well as project management. She has also worked on research and training programmes for organizations like UNDP, DIET, UNICEF, WHO, etc. She has worked with homeless women and children in Delhi and helped in establishing centers for them. Her core strength lies in community mobilization and empowerment of women through the means of education and training in livelihoods. She possesses outstanding skills of documentation of development projects. She is surrently associated with Save the Children, India.
