Biography

Mr. Suresh K. T. has studied M.Sc. Agriculture from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. He has got specialized courses such as OAD from Grolink Sweden, NOP from USA, Biodynamic Agriculture from Biodynamic Association of India, Inspection and Certification of Organic Farming and Products from APOF & IFOAM Asia and Export Management from Visweswariah Industrial Training Center, Bangalore. Mr. Suresh served at University of Agricultural Sciences as Graduate Assistant, at Agriculture Development and Training Society (ADATS) as an Agriculturist, at Mokichi Okada Association as Technical Guide, at Terra-Firma Organic Farmers And Consumers Association (TOFACA) as Technical Director, at Exim Seeds as Junior Scientist, at Coffee Board (Ministry of Commerce, Government of India) as Senior Research Fellow, at Institute for Marketecology (IMO) as Organic Farming Inspector, at International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA) as Manager of Organic Conversion, ICS & PGS, and with Era Organic as CEO. He also assisted the establishment of Apof Organic Certification Agency (AOCA) in Bangalore. Currently, he is the Chief Coordinator of AOCA in Bangalore and monitoring the overall inspection and certification activities of the agency. During his career he has trained thousands of organic farming stakeholders on Organic Certification and Standards.
