Biography
Vijay Sabesan is the Vice President of Technical Operations at Theravance Biopharma. He joined the company in June 2014 in connection with the spin-off from Theravance, Inc. (now Innoviva, Inc.). With Theravance, Inc. from 2004 to 2014, he held various positions before serving as the Senior Director of Process R&D. Prior to joining Theravance, Inc., Mr. Sabesan worked in the chemical process development group at Schering-Plough Research Institute, later acquired by Merck. Mr. Sabesan has a B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
