Gregory L. Hart
Mr. Gregory L. Hart, also known as Greg, has been the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Vice President of United Airlines, Inc. and United Continental Holdings, Inc. since February 28, 2014. Mr. Hart is responsible for all airport operations, technical operations, food services, inflight operations, flight operations and network operations, as well as cargo, safety and United Express. He served as Senior Vice President of Operations at United Continental Holdings, Inc. and United Airlines, Inc. from December 2013 to February 2014. From October 2010 to September 2012, he served as Senior Vice President Network of United Airlinesand United Continental Holdings, Inc. Mr. Hart served as Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at United Continental Holdings, Inc. and United Airlines, Inc. from September 2012 to December 2013. He oversaw United’s Global Technical Operations, including line and base maintenance functions. He was responsible for aircraft reliability and regulatory compliance and oversaw administrative, engineering, planning and production support of airframes, engines and components, as well as continuous improvement programs and third-party sales. He served as Vice President of Network Strategy at United Airlines from 2008 to 2010. He served as a Director of United Airlines, Inc. He held various leadership positions at United Airlines since joining in 1997, including Staff Vice President of Domestic Scheduling and Managing Director of Corporate Development. He began his career at the airline in the Continental Micronesia division. Prior to Continental, he worked at American Airlines in various finance roles for four years. Mr. Hart received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1987 and a Master’s in business administration degree from Cornell University in 1993.
