Biography
Kathy is a lifelong learner and holds three post-secondary degrees in Education and Liberal Arts, and a Masters in Educational Administration. She has earned an Alberta Teaching Certificate and an Early Childhood Certificate and has taught courses and trained staff, including Day Care Workers at MacEwan College. She has successfully completed several professional development certificate programs and leadership courses co-sponsored by the University of Alberta and her former employer, the City of Edmonton, as well as Leadership in the 21st Century, at the Harvard Kennedy School in 2009 and the Tamarack Community Collaboration Institute in 2010 and 2011.
