Biography
In 2010, Kelly Duffy was first elected to the Agricultural Adaptation Council (AAC) as a youth-at-large director. In 2014, Kelly was elected as an Agri-Business/Retail/Food Processor representative on the board and also, as Secretary of the AAC executive committee. In 2016, Kelly was elected as the Chair of the AAC board. Kelly has also served on the AAC marketing and communications committee. Kelly has more than 15 years of experience in international trade, sales and marketing, primarily in the food and beverage sector for the governments of Canada, USA and New Zealand. Kelly's businesses, the Globetrotter Group Inc. and On Route Distribution Inc., commercialise products, import, distribute and execute private label and branded sales strategies with leading retailers in North America. Her career has provided fantastic work experiences in Central Europe and the United States that add a unique and international perspective to her work. Educated at the University of Guelph, followed by Sheridan College, Kelly has also completed the Food Industry Executive Management and Technical Management programs at the University of Southern California and University of California Los Angeles, respectively. She is also a graduate of the Advanced Agriculture Leadership Program (AALP) Class 14.
