Biography
As a researcher, scientist and engineer, I enjoy working at the interface of technology and biology. After completing a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, I continued to merge these two disciplines by developing new tools to solve biological problems. My PhD research focused on the development and implementation of microfluidic cell culture systems to study and characterize hundreds of single hematopoietic cells at once. My research is now geared towards applying this technology to accelerate the discovery of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies.
