Amelia Mccauley

Biography

 Amelia graduated from McMaster University in 2010 with an Honors Bachelor of Kinesiology. After working as a Kinesiologist for a year, she decided to make the switch and become a Registered Massage Therapist. Amelia attended Sutherland Chan School & Teaching Clinic, renowned for their outreach clinics, where she was exposed to a very diverse range of specializations including Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation, Breast Massage and Scar Manipulation, and High Risk Pregnancy. Since graduating in 2012, Amelia has gained experience with acute and chronic injury, sports injury, and general well-being. She has become especially passionate about pre-natal massage and has become a trained Labour Support Provider (Birth Doula). Amelia customizes each treatment specifically with the patient in mind and utilizes Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Stretching and Strengthening, and Swedish Massage.
