Biography
Graduated from Acadia University with a BSc in Mathematics and a Certificate in Applied Science in 1974 and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick in 1981. Employed by innovacorp as an Industrial Technology Advisor (ITA) to deliver the National Research Council’s (NRC) Industrial Research Assistance Program (IRAP). Areas of specialization include Information Technology, Instrumentation, and Advanced Design and Manufacturing technologies. Responsible for assisting small and medium sized enterprises (SME) with technology problems, which may include technical advice, research proposal evaluation and research project management assistance. Also provide technical support to NRC’s maritime operations.
Research Interest
numerical control, computer aided drafting, finite element applications as well as CAD/CAM Systems Design and instrumentation of civil structures.
