Biography
I taught at Acadia for 30 years and although I am now retired, I continue supervising students, doing research with my colleagues, and participating in other school activities. Some of my colleagues (and our Director) are my former students. My main research interest is socialware and groupware - software for work teams and for social applications of the I-Neighbor or Ning kind (look them up on the Web). With Dr. Giles and two graduate students, we are developing one of these, but much better :-) If you think that you might contribute, let us know. In my s pare time (and I have some in my retirement) I read a lot and travel even more. I also bike, swim, ski, go regularly to the gym, and whistle a lot.
