Biography
After completing a Bachelor of Science (hon) major in Human Performance degree at the University of Victoria, Jonathon worked for a few years as the Medical and Doping Control coordinator for the Victoria Commonwealth Games Society before returning to school to complete his Masters of Science in Human Biodynamics at McMaster University. He worked as an instructor and strength and conditioning coach at McMaster, then completed a PhD in work physiology under Dr. Howie Green at the University of Waterloo, in the area of the biochemistry of muscle fatigue. He was also the head strength and conditioning coach at Waterloo and taught courses in Exercise Management. He joined Acadia University's School of Recreation Management and Kinesiology in 2001.
