Biography

Co-Founder of Accede Energy Services, Gord plays many roles within the company, including leading acquisitions, overseeing company operations and sitting on the Board of Directors. Gord focuses his efforts on developing an employee-owned business culture. He believes empowering employees with shares in the company opens up opportunities, increases loyalty and dedication, and improves the overall growth of Accede. Gord has over 30 years in the oil and gas industry, and has been involved in everything from new start-ups to large-scale growth strategies. His owner-operator experience has helped shape his philosophy towards improving business and providing opportunities through employee ownership. Gord enjoys spending time off from his busy schedule sturgeon fishing on the Fraser River, or simply escaping to the outdoors.
