Biography

Mr. Paul Kirkconnell is Director of the company. He is currently operates Sherpa International, a private consultancy practice with offices in Toronto, Geneva and Beijing. Prior to forming Sherpa International, Mr. Kirkconnell was a Managing Director at the Kirchner Group. Mr. Kirkconnell has also served as Executive Vice President of the Business Development Bank of Canada, and was responsible for its Venture Capital business with over $1 billion in current and planned investments. In that role, Mr. Kirkconnell was involved in direct investing into technology based companies and indirect fund of funds investing into technology-focused funds. Mr. Kirkconnell also has been the Managing Director, of Healthcare Funds at the Drug Royalty Corporation, which deployed approximately $1 billion for royalty acquisitions and was the President of Aventis Capital, the equity management subsidiary of Aventis S.A.
