Biography
Don Brophy is Senior Vice President, Aecon Constructors and joined Aecon in 1977 after graduating from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering. He has held the positions of Project Engineer, Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Vice President of Estimating and Operations. Mr. Brophy has extensive experience as Senior Estimator/Manager, bidding and executing heavy civil construction projects in the domestic market as well as internationally. Mr. Brophy has worked on major projects such as the Highway 407 Express Toll Route (407 ETR) and the Toronto Airport Terminal Development projects in Canada, and the Nathpa Jhakri Hydroelectric Power project in India. He is currently responsible for overseeing the execution of all heavy civil projects under Aecon Constructors.
