Biography
As Senior Vice President of Energy East, responsible for the oversight of Aecon Industrial Central and Aecon Atlantic, Ian Turnbull has been with Aecon since 1994. He has held a number of progressively senior management positions within Aecon, gaining extensive construction experience in many sectors including the Energy (nuclear and conventional), Petrochemical, Iron and Steel and Automotive sectors. Prior to joining Aecon he gained valuable industry experience in the consulting and equipment manufacturing fields. Mr. Turnbull is a Professional Engineer (Ontario) and is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a degree in Geotechnical Engineering. He is a past Director of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Hamilton, and continues to support the role the Association plays in providing continuing education and skills training to the construction community.
