Biography
John Almeida is Senior Vice President, Aecon Transportation East, responsible for Aecon Construction and Materials Limited (ACML), Karson, Aecon Materials Engineering (AME) and Yellowline Asphalt Products Ltd. Mr. Almeida brings over 30 years of experience in the civil construction industry and over 19 years of experience in the supervision and management of civil structure projects. Mr. Almeida is a highly experienced value engineering practitioner with demonstrated experience in complex foundation work, formwork innovation and concrete construction quality advancements. In 1998, he was instrumental in introducing a new concrete pour procedure that has now been adopted by the Ministry of Transportation in Ontario. Mr. Almeida holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto.
