Biography
Mark Rivett joined Aecon as Senior Vice President of Aecon Construction and Materials Limited in 2009, bringing with him 27 years of construction, engineering and materials experience. He has executive responsibility for Aecon’s Transportation activities including Aecon Construction and Materials Limited, Miwel Construction; Southrock, ACMI and Aecon Materials Engineering. He has been involved in the road building and related materials industry since 1982, holding increasing levels of responsibility in operations, estimating and management for a large public construction company. Mr. Rivett graduated as a professional engineer from The University of Waterloo in 1982 and holds a Masters in Business Administration from McMaster University. He previously served as President of both the Ontario Road Builders Association and Ontario Hot Mix Producers Association. He was a board member for CCPAT at the University of Waterloo.
