Biography

Ms. Leslie A. O'Donoghue, Q.C., B.A. (Econ), LL.B., has been the Chief Risk Officer and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy at Agrium Inc., since October 30,2012 and November 1, 2012 respectively. Ms. O'Donoghue served as an Executive Vice President of Operations at Agrium Inc. since May 10, 2011 until 2012. She served as Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Agrium Inc since 1999 until May 10, 2011. Heer responsibilities included legal affairs, corporate governance, internal audit, environmental, health, safety & security, as well as functional support for mergers and acquisitions. She served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Agrium Inc. since October 1999 and its Vice President since October 1999. She joined Agrium in 1999. She served as a Partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Ms. O’Donoghue established the Agrium’s Women’s Leadership Group and organizes AWLG forums and networking with related professional groups. She has been an Independent Director of Pembina Pipeline Corporation since December 17, 2008. She has been a Director of Pembina NGL Corporation since December 2008. She is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. She received Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Calgary in 1984, she completed her LL.B. at Queen’s University in 1988 and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1989.
