Biography
Mr. Tayfun Eldem, P.Eng., has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of the Company., effective August 24, 2015. He serves as the President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Alderon Iron Ore Corp. He has been President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company from September, 2011 to date; Vice President, Expansion Projects & Engineering, Iron Ore Company of Canada from September 2010 to June, 2011; Vice President, Operations & Engineering, Iron Ore Company of Canada from 2007 to 2010; General Manager, Processing Operations, Iron Ore Company of Canada from 2004 to 2007.. He is a professional engineer who graduated from Technical University of Nova Scotia (TUNS) in Halifax and will be based out of Alderon's Montreal office.
