Biography
DR. Arthur Perlani is currently working as at Department of Psychology, Algoma University. Perlini was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario. He received his Master’s degree in 1987 and Ph.D. in 1991, from Carleton University, in Ottawa Ontario. During this time, Perlini undertook advanced training in experimental psychology under the tutelage of Dr. Nicholas P. Spanos at the Laboratory for Experimental Hypnosis at Carleton University. He has authored a number of papers in experimental psychology, in the field of social psychology, including the study of deception. His research interests have focused on the generic problems of experimental methods in psychology and the objectification of subjective experience. His tenure at a small liberal arts university has compelled him to broaden his teaching and research areas considerably.
Research Interest
Series comprises records documenting research activities. Includes the Carleton University Responsiveness to Suggestion Scale, self-evaluation questionnaires, the Eysenck Personality Inventory, and control versus treatment results. Includes psychological testing and evaluation scales and inventories and research data.
