Biography
George L. Steeves is the principal of True North Energy, an energy consulting firm. From January 2001 to April 2002, Mr.Steeves was a division manager of Earthtech Canada Inc. Prior to January 2001, he was the President of Cumming Cockburn Limited, an engineering firm, and has extensive financial expertise in acting as a Chairman, Director and/or audit committee member of public and private companies, including the Corp., the Fund, Borealis Hydroelectric Holdings Inc. and KMS Power Income Fund. Mr. Steeves is a certified Chartered Director (C. Dir.) having completed the Chartered Director program of the Directors College (McMaster University). He received a Bachelor and Masters of Engineering from Carleton University and holds the Professional Engineering designation in Ontario and British Columbia. Mr. Steeves has served as a Director since September 8, 1997.
