Biography
Ed Gudaitis is the Vice President and Country Manager for Allergan Canada based in Markham, Ontario. After obtaining his B.Sc. from Brock University in St. Catherines, Ontario and his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business London, Ontario, Ed had a successful career working for Hoffmann-La Roche Limited in various roles of increasing impact. After a 12 year career at Roche, Ed decided to pursue a new career challenge at Gilead Sciences. In June of 2005, he joined Gilead to establish the operation of the Canadian affiliate. In the role of General Manager, he led the Gilead Canada through a period of significant growth. In 2015, Gilead Canada was ranked as one of the largest innovative pharmaceutical companies in Canada in terms of revenue. In late 2016, Ed joined Allergan Inc. as Country Manager for Canada. Ed has prior experience in a number of therapeutic areas and functional roles. He has worked in Oncology, Transplantation, Hepatitis, and HIV. His functional experience spans Business Unit Leadership, Marketing and Sales Management, Market Access, Pricing, Health Economics and Clinical Research. Ed also has experience launching significant products in the US market for Gilead as a result of his time working within Gilead’s US HIV Business. When not working to grow Gilead’s business, Ed enjoys travelling with his family, sports and tending to his wine collection.
