Timothy N. Jones

Biography

  Mr. Jones has been President, Electromechanical Group, since February 2006. Prior to that, he was Vice President and General Manager, AMETEK Process & Analytical Instruments, since 1999. He joined AMETEK in 1979 as a Systems Engineer. He was promoted to Product Manager for Combustion and Industrial Analyzers in 1986 and named Director of Engineering in 1989. He was promoted to Director of Product and Technology Support in 1992 and named a Divisional Vice President in 1995. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Point Park College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.   Mr. Jones has been President, Electromechanical Group, since February 2006.
