Marty Stanton

Biography

Marty celebrates his 30th anniversary in the moving industry in 2014. His knowledge and understanding comes from his hands on learning of the industry that began in operations in Edmonton, Alberta in 1984. He would then move to Ottawa and was the General Manager of their office for the next seven years. Returning to the west in 1991, Marty has firmly established himself on serving the needs of the corporate relocating employee. Marty is the founding member of the Western Regional Committee of the Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC) Marty has been the National Account Sales Manager in Calgary since 1991 where he has consistently been the recipient of the Highest Sales Honor in Canada for Atlas Van Lines for Domestic Relocations and also for Atlas Van Lines Inc, for cross border relocations to and from the United States. Marty believes that the lessons taught to him as a 10 year officer in the RCMP with 2 years as a Member of RCMP Musical Ride and the recipient of the Queens Jubilee Medal 1977 gave him the strong foundation that he employs everyday of his working life. Those are that hard work, professionalism and strong inter-personal skills is the only way to earn and keep the respect and loyalty of clients, his company, his van line and peers alike.
