Sandy Widder

Biography

Dr Widder is an Associate Professor.  She is the Facility Site Chief for Trauma and Provincial Medical Co-chair for Trauma Services.  Dr Widder is a trauma/ acute care surgeon and Intensivist who completed her subspecialty training in Calgary and Miami (visiting fellowship). She possesses a Masters in Health Administration (University British Columbia, Sauder School of Business).  She completed her Masters in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety from the University of Toronto in 2014. She has an interest in quality improvement endeavors, including a focus on patient family centered care.
