Biography
ohn began his career as a chemical engineer focusing on the development and commercialization of new products in the fermentation, food, beverage, dairy and animal feed industries. He is the co-founder and previous Chair of Philom Bios Inc., a Saskatoon based developer, manufacturer and marketer of novel inoculants for the agricultural industry. This trade expertise and experience has led to Mr. Cross’s residency on several boards including the National Research Council of Canada, the National Biotech Advisory Committee and the Royal University Hospital Foundation (amongst others). Besides being recognized as a member of the Order of Canada, Mr. Cross has received numerous awards for his outstanding contributions to the agriculture industry for both biotechnology and commerce.
