Sean Mcbride

Biography

Mr. McBride has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech commercialization, pricing, and business development. In his role at Appili Therapeutics, Mr. McBride is responsible for all out-licensing activities, as well as leading product in-licensing and acquisition opportunities to further enhance the company’s global business. Mr. McBride most recently served as commercial and business development lead at GlaxoSmithKline Inc. (GSK), leading a portfolio of assets valued at $170M. At GSK he was involved in all aspects of business development from lead generation to integration and divestment, including successfully completing numerous transactions with multinational pharmaceutical companies. Prior to joining GSK, Mr. McBride served as a director for healthcare agencies conducting commercial and strategic assessments in both Canada and the US and also served as director of marketing with Roche Pharmaceuticals. Mr. McBride holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and is an active member of the Canadian Healthcare Licensing Association (CHLA).
