Biography

What's your favourite thing about Appnovation? The company is at a size that allows for agility and adaptability at the same time we have enough maturity that allows us to follow best practices with respect to project/program delivery and execution. Also, it is refreshing to be part of an organization that values customer satisfaction in such high regard. What's your story/professional background? I am a decisive and results focused Senior Level PMP/PRINCE2 certified Senior Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in full project lifecycle management in a variety of complex and highly technical environments; consistently sought out to reengineer troubled projects. I have led multi-functional technology teams and am a key contributor and mentor for a variety of PMO offices. My strengths include successful analysis and problem-solving expertise, highly rated oral and written communications skills with a proven track record of planning, monitoring and executing projects with a strong customer service focus. My technical expertise includes but not limited to web implementation management, mobile app development management, voice and data networks, telecommunications networks, Augmented Reality (AR) creation software and installation, and technical training What do you bring to the table? I possess a unique blend of technology and program leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to produce exceptional business results in a services, commercial software, or a technology/engineering rich environment. What do you do (in/out of work) to excel in your role? I think it's my overall work ethic and attitude that has helped me to excel throughout my career. No matter the position I have been in, it has always been about ratcheting up my game and doing what is needed to exceed expectations and doing so in a professional and positive manner. What do you enjoy outside of work? Apart from my main focus of raising two young sons, with my free time I try and spend as much of my time outside, hiking, golfing, or playing tennis, and when I have to stay inside... working out at the gym. As a continuous learner, I find myself spending a fair bit of time staying up to date on management and project delivery best practices whether contributing directly to maintaining my project management certifications or as much just from a personal interest stand point.
